Laughing Sun Brewery – Bismarck North Dakota. A great place to enjoy craft beer, admire art, and chat with nice people! They will soon expand to larger space, move from a 3.5 barrel to a 20 barrel system, and serve food. This is a great place to knock down a cold one with friends.
Baronof Island Brewery – Sitka Alaska
Baronof Island Brewing Company in Sitka Alaska is worth the stop. Several great craft beers, including Sitka Spruce Tip (my favorite). I don’t go to Sitka often, but when I do I visit this brewery.
Map Brewery – Bozeman Montana
Map Brewery in Bozeman Montana is a top notch brewery, with great beer and incredible views. Plus an onsite restaurant and live music. They don’t allow dogs on their patio (not sure why??), but still enjoyed this place. Map Brewery

Broken Compass Brewing Company is a great place to go in Breckenridge Colorado. Friendly staff, numerous tasty craft beers, free shuttle rides, and a great atmosphere. It’s a must-go brewery in Breckenridge!

Jackson Street Brewery in Sioux City Iowa, is a great example of a small local brewery in the heart of the downtown area. They brew and serve several tasty craft beers, and have a comfortable low-key tap room – complete with board games. They have a beer club membership…and a jackalope on the wall!

Granite City Brewing and Restaurant is a chain found in several states. They brew on-site and have a full restaurant and bar.
Mount Rushmore Brewery – Custer South Dakota
Mount Rushmore Brewery, in Custer South Dakota. Several tasty craft beers, full bar, restaurant, with a large outdoor dog-friendly porch. Several creative shirt designs that insert beer into the Mount Rushmore themes. It’s a fun place!
